Hello and Welcome to our preview for Zimbabwe versus Pakistan match. We are covering ZIM vs PAK Dream 11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the ODI match. The match is to be played at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
This is the First ODI match in the Five Match ODI series between Host Zimbabwe and Pakistan and all the five matches are scheduled in same venue Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. Pakistan will be looking to improve their ODI rankings by performing well and it will be a good practice series for them before the world cup, whereas Zimbabwe will be looking for a fresh start in their ODI campaign as they are already out of the ICC Cricket World cup 2019, as they failed to qualify with losing a close encounter with UAE in the qualifiers.
Pakistan has not been played a single ODI series in almost six months, but they have a good ODI side to show their quality in the field as they were the Champions Trophy holder in 2017, whereas Zimbabwe have to work hard to meet the quality of the opposition as their big names is not included in the squad for this series due to injury and disagreement between the board and the players, it will be a test for Zimbabwe to prove them against top side bowling unit. Hamilton Masakadza will be leading the young guns for Zimbabwe, whereas Sarfraz Ahmed will be leading for Pakistan side.
Previously when these both side met each other it was the Triangular T20 series including Australia. Zimbabwe failed to make an impact in that series and lost all the matches while Pakistan won the Triangular Cup by defeating Australia in the Final. So this series will be an opportunity for Zimbabwe to perform well and Pakistan will be looking for a white wash in this series to improve their ODI rankings.
