North Group’s next game will be played at the Edgbaston in Birmingham and the two teams going face-to-face against each other will be the Warwickshire Bears and Yorkshire Vikings. The Vikings will be playing their second game of the season, whereas, this would be the first game for Warwickshire Bears in this edition.
In the last season, Warwickshire Bears missed the playoffs berth by just one win as they performed really well but one win eluded their campaign from getting into the top three teams in the North Group. They finished on the fourth position with 4 wins and 2 loss from 8 games played last year.
Yorkshire Vikings, on the other hand, are the current table toppers after they won their opening game of the season in a monopolizing manner by 213 runs against Leicestershire Foxes. Batting first, the Vikings posted a thundering score of 379 runs for the loss of 7 wickets courtesy an exemplary batting display from Gary Ballance (156 from 133) and Harry Brook (103 off 105). The duo stitched a 211 runs stand for the fourth wicket which made things really tough for Leicestershire who perished under pressure with only 166 runs on the board.
