Welcome to our preview of the match of Worcestershire vs Warwickshire in the T20 Blast 2018. We are covering WOR vs WAS Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable XI for the match. The match is to be played at the New Road, Worcester.
We are just in the primary stage of the T20 Blast 2018. Most teams are yet to play their opening matches, while others have opened their accounts. Both the teams playing today have played one match prior to this and incidentally, both won their games.
Worcestershire Rapids overcame a mighty Lancashire team in their opening encounter. Lancashire posted 188/6 in their batting appearance. Bowling from WOR was dismal and only part-timer George Rhodes impressed with 2/27 from his three overs. The chase began well as New Zealand opener Martin Guptill struck four fours early in his innings. The momentum was carried forward by Joe Clarke and Callum Ferguson. Brett D’Oliviera completed the chase with one ball and five wickets remaining.
In the other match, Warwickshire managed a clinical win over Nottinghamshire. The Notts batted first and failed to get going. After losing a wicket in the first over, they could never recover and eventually ended up at 155/7. All six WAR bowlers picked up wickets. The chase was eased by Ian Bell 82*(57) and Sam Hain 45(30), they won the match by 8 wickets.
