The best way to counter the threat of coronavirus is to stay at home and follow the government’s guidelines. But there are people still who are wandering outside for no obvious reasons, putting in danger not only their own lives but others’ as well.
Ravindra Jadeja posted a video on his official social media accounts where he can be seen at his brutal best in the field. But the message of the video was directed at people breaking the lockdown. The video is from 2017 Indian Premier League (IPL) season when he used to play for Gujarat Lions.
Jadeja tried to convey to the people that social distancing is the only way we can fight against this invisible threat and that by staying at home can we can help the government in eradicating this common enemy. In this throwback IPL clip against Mumbai Indians, Jadeja ran both Jasprit Bumrah and Kunal Pandya out in the last over and forced a “Super Over”. He captioned the video,
Bahar bindaas gumthe ho. Mast meh timepass karthe ho, jab aapko ghar pe rahena chahiye. Phir yeh toh hona he tha. #Staystaysafe #runoutmathona
Jadeja is considered as one of the best midfielders in the world of cricket. He has won many games for his teams with his superb fielding skills. He was last seen in the field on February 11, 2020, when he was touring New Zealand with Team India.
Coronavirus has forced all cricket into a hiatus, and it seems it could be a while before we can see cricketers on the field for a competitive game.
