Hello and Welcome to our preview for Victoria vs Tasmania match. We are covering VCT VS TAS Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the ODI match. The match is to be played at Tony Ireland Stadium, Townsville.

Victoria won the opening match of JLT CUP 2018 by 13 runs. G Maxwell and N Maddinson performed brilliantly with bat scoring 80 runs and 68 runs respectively. All bowlers bowled brilliantly to defend the target. W Sutherland took a five-wicket haul while C Tremain and Tom O’Connell took three and two wickets respectively.

Tasmania will begin their campaign tomorrow and will hope to get a good start to tournament unlike last year. They will be led by ex Australia captain G Bailey. B Mcdermott, M Wade, Jackson Bird, J Faulkner and S Milenko will be the other key players for Tasmania.

A good encounter can be expected between both teams.

VICTORIA:

A 14 man-squad has been declared. They will be without the services of Aaron Finch, Jon Holland, and Peter Siddle who are selected in squad for Pakistan test series.

James Pattinson is also ruled out for the first few matches of the tournament due to injury. Batsmen S Gotch or Travis Dean can play.

M Harris, M Short, C White, N Maddinson, G Maxwell and Peter Handscomb will be key with the bat. P Handscomb is in poor form recently and his form will be crucial for team. Will Sutherland can also contribute with bat. M Harris and M Short will open the innings.

C Tremain, W Sutherland, S Boland and M Short will be the key pacers for team. G Maxwell will lead the spin department of team along with T O’Connell.

TASMANIA:

They have declared 14 man squad. They will be without services of Tim Paine who is on national duty.

They have also suffered an injury blow, with star allrounder James Faulkner replaced by former Blues quick Gurinder Sandhu.

G Bailey, B Mcdermott, M Wade, B Webster and J Silk will be the key batsmen. S Milenko will bat in lower middle order.

Jackson Bird will lead the pace attack along with S Milenko. Aaron Summers or R Meredith will support them. Clive Rose will lead the spin attack.
