Momentum One day cup has finally reached its final step. Titans and Dolphins will be seen facing each other in the grand finale match of Momentum One Day cup at SuperSport Park, Centurion on Sunday.
Both the team had a fantastic season so far. Titans and Dolphin made their place in finals by winning their respective semifinals, against Cape Cobra and Warrior respectively. In the first semifinal, Titans crushed Cape Cobras by five wickets, whereas, Dolphins faced against Warriors and made their place in the final by defeating them by seven wickets. This final of the Momentum cup is going to thrilling.
Talking about the last fixture of both the teams, Dolphins showed exceptional performance. All the credit goes to the bowler, as they bowled out the entire Warrior’s side on 199 runs.
Keshav Maharaj played a vital role for his team by giving 36 runs and plucking four wickets. Not only Keshav delivered for his team, but Senuran and Eathan Bosch took two wickets each.
The batting line up of Dolphins has been doing well in the entire season. They even played the last game astonishingly. Vaughan Van Jaarsveld scored much needed 50 runs for his team.
Coming to Titans, they played their semi-final against Cobras and defeated them by five wickets. Dale Steyn and Junior Dala were unstoppable with the ball, and they both took a total of 9 wickets. Dala took six wickets giving 19 runs in his spell, while Steyn sent three batsmen back to the pavilion.
Titans failed to impress with the bat, but Farhaan Behardien took some responsibilty and scored 75 runs to make his team towards victory.
