Sussex surged to a comfortable victory against Gloucestershire yesterday as they chased off 160 runs with four wickets remaining. SUS managed to restrict GLO for only 159 in their 1^st innings with the magical Rashid Khan taking 3/24. He was assisted by the duo of Archer-Jordan who grabbed two wickets each. Opener Phil Salt scored a blinding 60(30) while David Wiese’s 38(23) took Sussex across the winning line.

Middlesex had to face another defeat yesterday despite putting up 210 runs in the first innings. The Irish duo of Paul Stirling 78(52) and Eoin Morgan 77(38) launched MID to 210 runs but their bowler failed to contain Essex batsmen namely Varun Chopra and Dan Lawrence. Middlesex lost by six wickets.

Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan has been called for National duties and will miss out tonight’s game, Will Beer is likely to take his place.
Luke Wright has been added to the squad, his inclusion depends on fitness test ahead of the match.
Phil Salt smashed a devastating 60 (30) in the last match while opening the batting.
Laurie Evans is in fine form for Sussex this season and is a must-pick despite his failure yesterday.
David Wiese replaced Tom Bruce yesterday, he will retain his spot.

Middlesex:

Tweaks are possible as this is the last match of the season for Middlesex and they are already out of the competition. They have announced 14-man squad.
Steven Finn shall rest for tonight’s match owing to a knee problem.
Robbie White is also injured and has no place in the squad.
Martin Anderson and Ethan Bamber have been included and are in line for a debut.
James Fuller was expensive in the last match but is expected to retain his place.
