After losing their opening match against Supernovas, the Trailblazers will be out for one last time to accentuate their show in the last match before the finals against Velocity, which will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Velocity registered a big win in their opening encounter of the competition against Trailblazers by 7 wickets. Velocity bowlers scripted a win by restricting Trailblazers for a mere 112 in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. It was a composite bowling effort from Shikha Pandey, Ekta Bisht, Amelia Kerr and Sushree Pradhan who were the wicket-takers.
In reply, Velocity’s chase was led by Danielle Wyatt who got 46 off 35 deliveries which included 5 fours and 2 sixes. She got good support in the form of opener Shefali Verma who got 34 off 31 as the duo stitched a 38-runs stand for the second wicket which got them out of the shallows of an early wicket.
Supernovas meanwhile need to win to stay in contention for the finals. Not only a win, but a win with a big margin is what they need to improve their net run-rate and book a spot in the finals which will take place on 11th of May at this very venue.
