The 2019 Women T20 Challenge will see Supernovas colliding against Velocity in the summit clash which will take place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. This has been a really good spectacle for the Indian women cricket and with a successful conclusion of this competition, the BCCI could carry an even better show next year.
Supernovas and Velocity are the two teams colliding for the elusive trophy after finishing first and second respectively in the points table. Supernovas after going down against Trailblazers by just 2 runs, scripted a much-needed win against Velocity by 12 runs. Jemimah Rodrigues unbeaten 77 off 48 deliveries helped Supernovas post a formidable 42 on the board which proved way too much for Velocity who could only manage 130 on the board.
Velocity, however, after winning their opening game against Trailblazers by 3 wickets stormed to the numero-uno spot on the points table. Thir healthy run-rate kept them in contention to finish among the top two and despite a loss to Supernovas by 12 runs, they have made it to the finals.
