Brisbane Heat has also won one and lost one encounter. Yesterday, They defeated Perth Scorchers comfortably by 7 wickets. They were phenomenal with the ball and restricted Scorchers at 103. Sammy-Lo Johnson, Jess Jonassen and Delissa Kimmince took two wickets each in the process. Beth Mooney stayed unbeaten in the chase scoring 24* runs while Kirby Short and Jess Jonassen played good knocks of 27 and 28* respectively to provide them their first win of the season. They will hope to continue the momentum ahead in the tournament.
