Sunrisers Hyderabad’s campaign began with two back to back losses but after that they have played well and won three of the next four matches. Their opening pair of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow are giving good starts and like last match one of them plays a big knock and in middle they have Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma who can take them to a good total. In the bowling Rashid Khan and T Natrajan have been very good with tight bowling and in the last match Khaleel Ahmad also bowled well so that’s a good sign that their bowlers are stepping up in Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s absence.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals’ major strength is their top order batting of Jos Buttler, Steven Smith and Sanju Samson who all can play big knocks and now all rounder Ben Stokes is also back and he will strengthen their batting and bowling further. In the bowling Jofra Archer is bowling well and in supporting role Rahul Tewatia, Shreyas Gopal and young Kartik Tyagi too has impressed a lot.
Weaknesses :
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s weakness is their fragile middle order and if one of Warner and Bairstow gets out cheaply then they could be in trouble and their lower order doesn’t have a good experienced finisher so that’s a concern for them. In the bowling they have Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad for the fifth bowler’s quota but they leak so many runs and this is also a big issue for them as match can slip from them due to their poor bowling.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals’ weakness is their bowling as except Jofra Archer no other bowler has shown some consistency.
