The corona virus curve has still not flattened in India. The wrath of the virus doesn’t seem to subside and more tests only reveals more and more positive cases in India. When the rest of the world is slowly returning to normalcy, Indians are still at the mercy of the virus. The latest celebrity catch for the corona virus is the Sourav Ganguly family in Kolkata.

Snehashish Ganguly, the secretary of Cricket Association of Bengal and Sourav Ganguly’s elder brother was affected by novel corona virus, the health state department mentioned on Friday. Wife of Mr. Snehashish Ganguly, his mother in law and father in law were also not spared by the deadly virus. Even the domestic help of their home was tested positive for Covid-19.
All the four complained of some health issues, which were similar to the symptoms of COVID-19 when they were staying at another residence and not at Ganguly’s ancestral house in Behala. After testing positive, all the four were shifted to a private nursing home,” a senior official was quoted as saying in Business Insider India.

The prince of Kolkata Sourav Ganguly was known as the God of offside during his playing days. He was the captain who took charge in tough phase of Indian cricket and taught the team how to win. So the man is expected to come through in this tough phase for him as well as his family. Sourav Ganguly will also undergo a test for Corona Virus in a private facility here in Kolkata on June 20.
Coincidentally, on this day 24years ago was when Sourav Ganguly made his debut for the Indian cricket team.
“On Saturday, June 20, they are set to be tested again and a decision would be taken, bearing in mind the test results. Whether they will be discharged or not, depends on the result of the tests,” sources at the nursing home stated.
