BATE kicked off their new season in a disappointing manner as they were on the receiving end of a 3-1 defeat to Energetik-BGU Minsk. However, with still plenty of games remaining in their hands, BATE can soon turn the season around in their favour. It was last season where BATE finished just five points shy of Dinamo Brest who won the title. That being said, they will be looking to go the distance.
