Hello and Welcome to our preview for Sri Lanka vs West Indies 1st Test match. We are covering SL vs ENG 1st TEST Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the first Test match of the series. The match is to be played at Galle International Stadium, Galle.
The formats of the games have changed but it is the one thing that has remained constant – the rain. England won the ODI series 3-1 and also the only T20I played, but all were curtailed by rain. With the five-day match about to begin, there are still rain clouds that are looming large.
After winning the Test series against India at home, this challenge of facing Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka will be a tougher prospect for the English team. They are without their highest run-scorer in the Test format, Alastair Cook. Their batting lineup will have to play out of their skin to survive against the Sri Lankan spin moment.
This will be an emotional moment for the island nation as they prepare to bid goodbye to their prolific spin bowler Rangana Herath. They will have a three-pronged spin attack of Herath, Perera and Dananjaya. Their batting is bolstered by Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal.
