SCO vs NZ Dream11: Scotland and New Zealand will lock horns in the two-match T20I series starting from July 27. The Kiwis are coming off a brilliant 3-0 win over Ireland in the recently concluded T20I series and will be the favourites to win the matches against Scotland as well. Scotland, meanwhile, are playing their first set of T20 matches since the World Cup last year where they faced teams like India, Pakistan and New Zealand.

The surface at the Grange Cricket Club is decent to bat on but a T20I is taking place at the venue for the first time since September 2021. So the team winning the toss is expected to bowl first and gauge the pitch.
Last result at the venue
Scotland faced Zimbabwe in September 2021 when the last T20I was played at the venue. Zimbabwe had chased down 178 in the last over thanks to a stunning 66* off 29 balls from Milton Shumba.

George Munsey recent stats in T20Is
George Munsey is one of the better batters in the Scotland set up. He opens the innings for the team and more often than not makes sure to provide the team with a good start. He has played 51 T20Is so far and a strike-rate of 146.31 proves that he is a swashbuckler with the bat

Martin Guptill stats in T20Is
Martin Guptill is a veteran when it comes to white-ball cricket. His T20I strike-rate of 136.48 shows that he is the enforcer for the Kiwis at the top of the order. He didn’t have a great Ireland series scoring only 60 runs in three matches and would be keen on making amends in these two matches against Scotland.

115 | 3359 | 25, 11, 24, 51, 31 | 93 | 32.29 |
Lockie Ferguson stats in T20Is
Lockie Ferguson is a brilliant bowler and has the ability to run through the opposition batting line-up. He also picked up a four-wicket in the first T20I against Ireland and can deliver in excess of 150 kph constantly. Ferguson can turn out to be a game-changer for New Zealand in this series.

Scotland are playing without their veteran player Kyle Coetzer who has announced retirement from the shortest form of the game. However, they have some brilliant players in their set up and have the ability to beat a top team on their game. In the T20 World Cup, they fell short just 16 runs of the target and will be looking to stun the Kiwis this time around.
New Zealand, on the other hand, are trying out some new players by resting their first-choice cricketers on this tour. Certain players stood up during the Ireland T20Is and this is a great chance for them to stake their claim for a place in the T20 WC squad later this year.
New Zealand and Scotland have faced each other in two T20Is so far and on both occasions, the Kiwis have emerged victorious.
New Zealand is the stronger side among the two teams and are the favourites to win this encounter.
