SA vs ZIM 1st T20 Dream11 Team Prediction and probable XI: Preview

Hello and Welcome to our preview for South Africa vs Zimbabwe 1st T20I match. We are covering SA vs ZIM 1st T20 Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the first T20I match. The match is to be played at Buffalo Park, East London.

This is the opening match of the T20I series, earlier South Africa clinched the three-match ODI series 3-0. Zimbabwe did fight hard but gave away key moments and it was South Africa who came up trumps in the series. The visitors were especially troubled by Steyn and Imran Tahir while the batting remained an issue.

South Africa will bolster their batting for the T20I series as the wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton De Kock returns to the team after missing out in the ODI series, there will be a healthy competition between him and Klaasen. FAF Du Plessis will lead the side as he did in the third ODI. Junior Dala is another youngster to look out for.

Zimbabwe has assembled an experienced squad with the return of Brendan Taylor and Sean Williams. Hamilton Masakadza failed to make most of the starts he received in the ODI series. Tendai Chatara and Brandon Mavuta impressed in the ODIs and will want to cause further problems for the Proteas batsmen.

G Cloete or R Van Der Dussen is likely to make his debut.
Both Quinton De Kock and H Klaasen will be in the playing XI.
Faf Du Plessis, David Miller and JP Duminy will handle the middle order.
Imran Tahir was the man of the series for the ODIs and is expected to be the only spinner in the team. He can be helped by Duminy if needed.
Dala, Ngidi alongside Phelukwayo will be the pace battery for SAF.

Zimbabwe:

Solomon Mire and Chamu Chibhabha are the expected openers.
Brendan Taylor, Sean Williams and Tarisai Musakanda/Peter Moor will fill the middle order spaces.
Kyle Jarvis will lead the pace bowling department with Chris Mpofu.
One spinner out of Mavuta and W Masakadza should get a game. The leg-spinner Mavuta is likely to get a nod.
