SA vs NZ Fantasy Tips

  • Kane Williamson scored a 50 in the previous match after a long layoff and the Kiwi has a stellar record in this format.
  • Quinton de Kock has scored 45, 11, 8 and 9 in his previous four ODI matches. However he can be backed to do well in this match given his ODI career record.
  • Klassen is an aggressive batter and smashed 174 recently against Australia
  • Sodhi was simply phenomenal in the recent series with Bangladesh where he picked up a five wicket haul in the second match. He would be keen on performing on the helping Indian soil
  • Rabada has led the pace attack for South Africa and has scalped as many as 144 wickets in 92 matches. He can be handy with the bat as well.
  • Daryl Mitchell has three hundreds in his previous 6 ODI matches and he will be a key pick for htis match.
  • Phelukwayo will be batting lower down the order and is the sixth bowling option. Hence avoid him for this match.
  • David Miller can be left out of the team if South Africa are chasing as the target might not be big enough for him to have an impact.
  • The surface here has aided the batters quite a bit hence try to cover all the main all-rounders and batters.
  • All the memebers from both the squads can be called upon during any time of the match as this is a warm up fixture.

Who will win South Africa vs New Zealand today match?

  • South Africa are expected to win this match
  • In head-to-head clashes in ODIs, New Zealand and South Africa have only played 71 matches. New Zealand has won 25 games while South Africa has won 41 matches. Interestingly, New Zealand and South Africa have not played much bilateral series with each other
