Rangpur Riders are second on the points table with seven wins and four losses. They won their last match against Rajshahi Kings by 6 wickets. Bowling first, Three-wicket haul from Farhad Reza and two scalps each from Nazmul Islam and Shahidul Islam restricted Kings at 141 which was successfully chased with the help of Rilee Rossouw and AB de Villiers who scored 55 and 37 respectively. With a place in the top two teams confirmed, They will be determined to defeat table-toppers Victorians and end on top of the points table.

Table-toppers Comilla Victorians won their yesterday’s match against Dhaka Dynamites by 1 run. Batting first, They could only score 127 runs with Tamim Iqbal being the top scorer for his 38 run knock. However, Their bowlers were at their best and ensured a close win for their team. Mohammad Saifuddin took four wicket haul while Mahedi Hasan took two scalps for his team. They will hope to give a tough challenge to Rangpur Riders and enter the qualifier with momentum on their side.

Alex Hales is ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury. AB de Villiers will also play his last match for Riders tomorrow.

Benny Howell will most probably take the place of AB de Villiers. Ravi Bopara can also play.

Shaiful Islam did not complete his bowling quota in the last match and left the over mid-way. If fit, He will continue otherwise Abul Hasan or Sohag Gazi can play.

C Gayle and M Mithun will open the innings. Rilee Rossouw and AB de Villiers will follow them. Nahidul Islam, Farhad Reza and Mashrafe Mortaza will do the late hitting duty.

Mashrafe Mortaza, Farhad Reza and Shahidul Islam will be the key pacers while Nazmul Islam and Nahidul Islam will lead the spin attack. C Gayle can support them.

Comilla Victorians:

Tamim Iqbal and Evin Lewis can open the innings. Anamul Haque, Imrul Kayes, Shamsur Rahman, Shahid Afridi and Thisara Perera will follow them.

Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Saifuddin will lead the pace attack along with Thisara Perera while Shahid Afridi and Mahedi Hasan will be the key spinners. Mosharraf Hossain can support them.

Evin Lewis is having a fitness issue from the start of BPL’19 and can be given rest before qualifier match. Liam Dawson can get a chance in such case.

Probable Playing XI:

These matches can be risky as in BPL any player can be rested in any match. Also, both teams have confirmed top two spots in Qualifiers so can rest any big player tomorrow.
