Almost on a verge to bid goodbye to Indian Premier League 2019, Royal Challengers Bangalore will square off against Delhi Capitals in the 20th fixture of IPL 2019 at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.
IPL 2019 has turned out to be one of the worst seasons for RCB so far. At present, RCB has faced defeat in all five matches they have played in this IPL season with nil points in their pockets.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals started their season with a brutal cricketing show, but later they failed to sustain their momentum and lost those games that they probably should have won. DC has lost three matches out of five they have played.
Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals: Preview
Sitting at the bottom of the points table, Royal Challengers Bangalore stood sturdy in their last encounter against KKR by scoring 205 runs in allotted over, but Andre Russell’s 43 runs off 13 balls changed the stats drastically for RCB.
Royal Challengers Bangalore now need to win eight matches out of its nine games remaining to keep themselves alive in the tournament. Rest of the games would not be trouble-free for RCB. They lack confidence and skills majorly bowling department. It would be captivating to see what new tactics would King Kohli makes in his next match.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, they are pretty sure that more defeats in the tournament would end their feasibility to make the playoffs either. We see no muddle in Delhi Capitals team, but still, they need to filter out their winning combinations.
Top order Batsmen needs to stay on the crease for long and not make pressure on the middle order. Shikhar Dhawan must come out with more aggression in the powerplay. R Pant needs to take more responsibility as a batsman and try not to play impulsive shots at the crucial times. This has often led defeats for Delhi.
