The PSG vs DIJ Dream11 match preview –

The penultimate gameweek of the French Ligue 1 will see champions Paris Saint-Germain face off against Dijon FCO on Saturday.

Paris Saint-Germain have been competing with themselves for a while in the domestic league as they have had a mammoth lead over the rest of the competition. The team has been looking great and with attacking firepower consisting of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Edinson Cavani, they have the ability to get past anyone. The sole focus of the club from this point forth will be to get their act together in Europe, where they have consistently underperformed.

Meanwhile, Dijon FCO are in the 19th spot and for all intents and purposes are going to be relegated. The team has been terrible this season, and have the most amount of defeats in 21. They are looking to put on a late charge for survival, but a win against the current champions is going to be a difficult task. In all honesty, they need to forget about this season, accept their reality, and start afresh in order to have a better shot of surviving in the topmost tier of French football, when they deserve to play here.

Paris Saint-Germain is going to be winning this game and prove the class difference between the two sides.

PSG vs DIJ Dream11 Team Predictions-

Team 1:

The obvious choice to have a 7:4 ratio in favour of Paris Saint-Germain is being done.

The superstars that are Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani are selected as they pose the biggest threat to anyone facing. The duo has been in good form, and have involved, along with suspended Neymar, in 80 of the 100 goals scored by PSG in the domestic season so far. That is an 80% share, enough to justify their selection.

Dani Alves is also taken from PSG, and he will be accompanied by F Balmont and N Sliti from Dijon FCO. The relegation prone side will only be having fillers be in this Dream11 team, as limited things are expected from them in this contest. So much so, their credit points are also taken under consideration before picking them here.

In defence, Paris Saint-Germain has got a lot of problems in terms of injuries, and that is why we have gone for L Kurzawa and C Dagba. The duo are most definitely starting this game, and are likely to dawn the role of being the leaders for the backline. From their counterpart, O Haddadi and C Yambere are included, as they have been the best players for Dijon FCO this season in terms of being consistent.

Goalkeeper too was an easy choice, as Gianluigi Buffon will be between the sticks and the legendary player will be looking to get his 7th cleansheet for the team in 17 games this season.

Captain is someone who gets double the points he fetches, and for that matter, we have selected Kylian Mbappe, who have been in impressive form lately as he has scored 7 goals and has 3 assists in the last five games he has played. Vice Captain (1.5 times) is going to be his teammate in Cavani, who will be looking to have a strong game here as well.

Team 2:

Dijon FCO striker J Tavares in the team as here we have gone for three strikers.

His credit points free up some space and give us the opportunity to get Julian Draxler from PSG to replace F Balmont. J Marie too comes in place of N Sliti.

Chafik too is brought in, and this maintains our ideology of making sure that Dijon FCO gets only four players in the team.

Captain should be Kylian Mbappe here as well, but in Vice-Captain there are options as you can go with either Di Maria or Cavani. Maybe even J Tavares, if for some unforeseen reason you are adamant that Dijon FC will get one goal.
