The second youth ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on Tuesday morning at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, Hambantota. The hosts – Sri Lanka registered 26 runs win in the opening game played at the same venue on Sunday.
Having opted to bat first, Sri Lanka posted 234-9 at the end of 50 overs with both the openers returning with the fifties. From Pakistan, M Junaid, M Wasim and M Taha returned with two wickets each. Coming to chase, the visitors were bowled out for 208 runs in 47.3 overs. Sudeera Thilakaratne and Navod Paranavithana bagged five wickets collectively for the hosts.
The hosts have taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match series and will be looking to double their win when both the teams will reload tomorrow morning.

Saim Ayub and M Taha scored the thirties and will be looking to contribute more in the second game
Saim Ayub scored 325 runs in 7 games in the Inter-Region U19 One-day tournament in Pakistan
Mohammad Junaid, Mohammad Wasim Jr and Mohammad Taha shared two wickets each in the opening game. M Junaid also bagged 4 scalps in the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2018 tournament
