PAK vs SA Today Match Prediction : Pakistan will take on South Africa in the second and last Test match in Rawalpindi from 4th February. Pakistan lead 1-0 in the series after a good 7 wickets’ victory in Karachi in the first Test last week and they will look to win the series. Strengths :
Pakistan’s strength is their bowling attack especially the spin duo of Yasir Shah and Nauman Ali who took 14 wickets between them in the first Test and in these spin friendly conditions they will be trump card for the hosts as South Africa struggle against spin. Then in the batting they have inform Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam and Mohammad Rizwan in the middle order. Captain Babar Azam is also back to strengthen it further.
On the other hand, South Africa’s strength is also their bowling attack of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi and Keshav Maharaj who did well in Karachi. In batting Dean Elgar, Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen got fifties in first Test and once again they will be big hopes for South Africa to set the platform for the likes of Faf du Plessis, Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma.
Weaknesses :
Pakistan’s weakness is their habit of collapsing as they can collapse at any stage and then their openers are also not scoring good runs and their struggles against new ball is a big worry for them. Then in bowling Hasan Ali looked off colour in the first Test.
South Africa’s weakness is their batting as most of their batsmen especially captain Quinton de Kock and Faf du Plessis’s struggle against spin and the likes of Temba Bavuma, George Linde too aren’t scoring much runs and top order batsmen Elgar, Markram and Rassie van der Dussen need to convert their starts.
