Hello and Welcome to our preview for Pakistan vs South Africa match. We are covering PAK vs SA Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the fifth ODI. The match is to be played at the Newlands, Cape Town.
After being battered in the Test series, the Pakistani side made a strong comeback in the ODI series and currently stand with an opportunity of winning their second consecutive ODI series in South Africa. They dominated the home side in the fourth match to level the series 2-2.
Pakistan lost their captain Sarfraz Ahmed for four matches as ICC handed him the ban for his racist comments. Shoaib Malik came out for the toss and handled his team well. Usman Khan, playing in place of Hasan Ali, grabbed four wickets and was ably supported by the rest of the crew. Imam scored a steady 71 while Fakhar’s 44 and Babar’s 41 helped the team get a comfortable eight-wicket win.
South Africa has much to ponder. Their batting lineup post-ABD has not been up to the mark and they are prone to collapses even at home. In the fourth ODI, they stuttered from 119/2 to 164 all out. With such an abysmal score the bowling attack was helpless. The Proteas will have to aim for big scores to go past the Pakistanis.

Pakistan:
Sarfraz has been suspended for four matches. Shoaib Malik will captain the side in his absence and Mohammad Rizwan takes the gloves.
Fakhar Zaman scored 44 in the last match which will save his position in the team. He will open alongside Imam-ul-Haq.
The middle order of Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik remains rigid. Mohammad Rizwan, wicketkeeper, was sent at number four to finish the game in the fourth ODI.
Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan will be the spinning all-rounder.
Usman Khan and Shaheen Afridi lead the bowling attack. Hasan Ali may come back in place of Mohammad Amir as the first change bowler.
South Africa:
South African batting department is struggling but the changes are unlikely with poor resources available.
Hashim Amla and Quinton De Kock open the batting. Reeza Hendricks emerges at number three.
The middle order consists of Faf du Plessis, R Van Der Dussen and David Miller. David Miller’s form is worrying, this is the chance for him to come back in form.
There are suggestions of Andile Phehlukayo being dropped to include Wiaan Mulder but Phehlukwayo is a match-winner and he should continue in the playing XI.
Imran Tahir stays the lone spinner while Steyn, Rabada and Hendricks handle the pace department.
