Pakistan will face off Northamptonshire in their second practice game on Monday noon. The side registered a thumping 100 runs win over Kent in the previous encounter and would be looking to make the most of it against Northamptonshire too. Their third and last practice game with Leicestershire is scheduled on May 01, Wednesday after which they will be playing the 5 matches ODI series with England.
In the clash with Kent, Pakistan posted a huge total of 358-7 after opting to bat first. Opener Fakhar Zaman (76), middle-order batters Harris Sohail (75) and Imad Wasim (117*) were the top contributors with the bat. In reply, Kent got bowled out for 258 with five overs remaining and fell short by 100 runs.
The three practice games will be instrumental for Pakistan in getting habitual to the conditions as they will be taking on England next Sunday before the mega event CWC 2019 starting next month.
