Hello and Welcome to our preview for Otago Volts vs Wellington Firebirds match. We are covering OTG vs WEL Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Super Smash 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at the Basin Reserve, Wellington.
This is the fifth match of the competition. Wellington, who will be the hosts for this match, is playing in its third match while this is the second game for Otago Volts. Both the teams do not have any superstars playing for them but are full with quality players.
Wellington began the tournament on a losing note and their previous match was a washout. Now they have face Otago Volts at home. Their bowlers struggled against Knights in the first match. Jeetan Patel bowled well to begin with but was later clobbered. Firebirds were chasing 216 runs thanks to Conway-Hose-Neesham but lost plenty of wickets regularly. They will want to tighten the bowling effort this time.
Otago started with a victory over Canterbury in their opening match. Viljoen picked up two wickets in two overs and kept down the Kings to 184/5 in their 20 overs. The top three for Otago, Broom-Rutherford-Kitchen, all played fiery knocks and set the start. They eventually cantered to a five-wicket win.
