NSW vs QUN Dream11 Team Prediction: Preview | Cummins, Hazlewood Joins Squad

Hello and Welcome to our preview for New South Wales vs Queensland match. We are covering NSW vs QUN Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the JLT Cup match. The match is to be played at Drummoyne Oval, Sydney.

New South Wales are right at the bottom of points table with only one win. However, in last match they defeated Tasmania by 88 runs and will have momentum on their side. Jack Edwards was their star with bat scoring 68 runs at a strike rate near 140. Other batsmen also got starts but could not convert it into a good score. Sean Abbott was the pick among bowlers taking a five-wicket haul. Daniel Sams also took two wickets. Being last group match before crucial qualifiers, They will hope to put a good show.

Queensland have also won only one match and lost three matches. They lost their last match to Western Australia by 116 runs due to D Short and A Tye Heroics. M Kuhnemann was their key bowler taking three wickets while L Feldman and B Stanlake also took two wickets each. Sam Heazlett scored a brilliant century and was well supported by Chris Lynn and C Hemphrey scoring 58 and 46 runs respectively. Expectations will be high on Captain Jimmy Peirson and experienced Joe Burns to lead with bat for team’s success going ahead in final stages.

Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood who have been nursing from injuries from past few months have been added in squad and one of them will most probably play replacing Mickey Edwards with chances of Pat Cummins being more.

D Hughes, K Patterson, M Henriques, N Larkin and J Edwards will be the key batsmen. J Lenton, Daniel Sams, Chris Green and S Abbott will play the role of finisher for team.

Chris Green will lead the spin department. S Abbott and Daniel Sams will lead the pace attack of team along with Pat Cummins or Josh Hazlewood. Moises Henriques will support them.

Queensland :

Before the qualifiers, Talented spin all-rounder Andrew Gode can be given a chance over M Swepson. Chris Lynn, J Burns, M Bryant, S Hazlett, C Hemphrey and J Peirson will be the key with bat. Mark Steketee and M Swepson/A Gode will be the finisher for team.

M Kuhnemann will lead the spin department along with C Hemphrey and M Swepson or A Gode while B Stanlake, M Steketee and Luke Feldman will be the key pacers for team.
