Welcome to our preview of the 1st match of the Nottinghamshire vs Warwickshire in Vitality Blast 2018. We are covering NOT vs WAS Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable XI for the match.
Vitality Blast is the first ever professional T20 cricket league in the World. The competition was established by ECB(England and Wales Cricket Board) in 2003.
The competition will comprise total 18 teams divided into two groups, termed as the North Group and the South Group. There will be a total of 133 T20 matches and the competition will be played from 4th July to 15th September.
The competition will kick-off with a match between last year’s two finalists where Nottinghamshire emerged as victorious. But if we go by the current form neither of Nottinghamshire or Warwickshire had a great Royal London ODI cup. Nottinghamshire’s journey was finished on the quarterfinals whereas Warwickshire didn’t even manage to reach that stage. So, both the teams will be looking forward to their change in fortunes.
The defending champions, Nottinghamshire still have the services of most of their players who was the part of the champion team previous year. They will be highly dependent on their veterans Daniel Christian, Samit Patel, Harry Gurney, Chris Nash and Riki Wessels.
The runner-ups of the previous season also managed to maintain the same group of players and will be looking for avenge in the first encounter. Their young gun Sam Hain is in top form this season and experienced campaigner Ian Bell also looked in great touch in the practice match. Warwickshire will be also banking on their New Zealander trio of Jeetan Patel, Grant Eliott, and Colin de Grandhome to win matches for them
