Batting first, Andrew Fletcher scored a brilliant knock of 125 runs and was well supported by Devon Conway and Michael Bracewell who scored 74 and 66 runs respectively to reach a total of 301 runs. They demolished Otago’s lineup on 108 with James Neesham being the key taking three scalps while M Nofal and H Bennett took two wickets each to provide a 193 run win for the team. They will hope to continue the momentum ahead and retain their top position in points table.

Joe Carter will directly come into the playing XI in place of Daniel Flynn. Zak Gibson will also come into the playing XI. If the team goes for another pacer then James Baker will play otherwise Spinner Joe Walker can also play.
Dean Brownlie, Nick Kelly and HR Cooper will be the key batsmen. Anton Devcich, Daryl Mitchell and Brett Hampton will play the role of all-rounder.
