India Men’s cricket team’s newly-appointed chief selector, Sunil Joshi revealed his greatest priority at the moment. The former India spinner suggested that the selection panel and team management should be brought on the same page.
All-India Senior Selection Committee chairman Sunil Joshi and panel member Harvinder Singh will assume the roles as chief selectors on Wednesday.
“I know there are a lot of challenges. I have to take up the job formally first, and see how best I can get the group along. I will do everything in my capacity to ensure that the team management and committee members are on the same page for the betterment of Indian cricket,” said newly appointed chief of selector.
Rajesh Chouhan, Harvinder, Venkatesh Prasad, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan and Sunil Joshi were interviewed to fill the posts left vacant by MSK Prasad and fellow panel member Gagan Khoda.
