The ICC World T20 Qualifiers have already entered the final stages and it will Netherlands and Scotland who will lock horns in the 41st match of the tournament. The situation in Group A is a bit complex as both Netherlands and Papua New Guinea have won 4 matches each. The Netherlands need to win big against Scotland if they hope to finish at the top of the points table.
On the other hand, it has been an indifferent tournament for Scotland. They have managed to win 3 out of the 5 matches they have played so far and have realistic hopes of making it through to the playoffs. The Netherlands, on the other hand, will look to win big to get through to the World T20 next year.

Much like Papua New Guinea, Netherlands is also going through a purple patch in the tournament and has managed to win 4 out of the 5 matches they have played so far. The Netherlands is one of the finest associate teams especially in the limited-overs format. Openers Ben Cooper and Max ODowd scored half-centuries in the previous match and shared a stand of 123 for the opening wicket.
The likes of Ryan ten Doeschate have also done a good job. The bowling department has also looked impressive and that has been the reflection on their position in the points table. Roelof van der Merwe has been the X factor player for them. Any update on the injury of any player will be updated as soon as we receive information.
Predicted Playing XI
Max ODowd, Ben Cooper, Ryan ten Doeschate, Colin Ackermann, Scott Edwards (WK), Pieter Seelaar (C), Roelof van der Merwe, Timm van der Gugten, Shane Snater, Fred Klaassen, Paul van Meekeren.
Scotland also stands a realistic chance of making a presence in the T20 World Cup next year. They have some pretty impressive names and they made it happen last year in an ODI against England. Skipper Kyle Coetzer and Calum MacLeod will be the most important players for Scotland in the all-important clash. The bowling department will be led by Josh Davey and Safyaan Sharif and they will look to unsettle the star-studded Netherlands batting line-up.
Predicted Playing XI

The Netherlands vs Scotland Dream 11 Team Combination
Wicket-keepers- Scott Edwards
Batsmen- Kyle Coetzer, Calum Macleod, Ryan ten Doeschate, Max O’Dowd, Ben Cooper
All-rounders- Roelof Van der Merwe, Colin Ackermann
Bowlers- Josh Davey, Safyaan Sharif, Tom Sole
Roelof Van der Merwe- He will definitely be my captain option especially due to his heroics in the tournament especially with the ball in hand. He has bagged 9 wickets in the competition so far and has also contributed with the bat. He is a lusty striker in the lower middle order and I will definitely go with him as my captain.
Calum MacLeod- He has been a pretty impressive batsman for Scotland over the years and it has been no different in the tournament so far. He smashed a sensational 74 in the last match against Bermuda. MacLeod started off the tournament with a knock of 44 and 30 against Singapore and Kenya respectively. After a duck, he came back strongly with a knock of 39 against Namibia. Hence he is a good captain option.
