It was a terrific effort from the home side Malaysia to register a win over Thailand in the opening match of the Tri-series by 5 wickets. With utmost confidence by their side, Malaysia will now take on the Maldives in the second match of the series which will be played at the Kinrara Academy Oval in Kuala Lumpur.
Meanwhile, the Maldives will be playing their first match of the competition and would be eyeing a winning start to get their campaign going.
Each team will play a total of four games; two each with the other two nations and the table topper will be announced as the winner.
