The MCI vs WAT Dream11 match preview –

The most prestigious competition in English football in the FA Cup will see its Final being played between Manchester City and Watford on Saturday.

Manchester City are coming off a Premier League title for the second year in a row and now have got their eyes on sight for yet another win in a competition. The team broke their curse of being winning a single thing by winning the FA Cup back in 2011, and this is their chance to redeem themselves for the losses they’ve faced in this tournament. Coach Pep Guardiola will be looking to seal off yet another great season with two trophies to his name.

Meanwhile, Watford FC are a team on a mission to get their hands on a title here and seal their berth in the UEFA Europa League. The team has had a roller coaster of a season and have finished in the 11th spot in the league table. Their major issue was conceding goals, and that is one area that needs to be looked at before going up against a juggernaut of a side in Manchester City. The FA Cup is known as a giant-killing competition, and Watford FC will be looking to do the very same, against a side who has had a history of losing to the underdogs in clutch situations.

MCI vs WAT Dream11 Team Predictions-

Team 1:

We are going for a 6:5 ratio in favour of Manchester City here, as they are more likely to win this game, on the current form.

Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne are selected, as this trident of players are absolutely lethal in front of the goal. Manchester City has scored 95 goals this season, the most by any English side, and taking attacking players from their roster will give us a better chance to fetch us good points.

Troy Deeney, Roberto Pereyra and Etienne Capoue are included from Watford FC, as in this transition period, these three players have still been able to find that sweet spot of consistency and adaptation.

K Walker and Laporte are taken from MCI in the defence, and from their counterpart in WAT, Cathcart and Kabasele have been added into the Dream11 team. Given the credit points of these four players (33), gave us the chance to select the aforementioned heavyweights in Aguero (11), Sterling (10.5), de Bruyne (9), Deeney (10) and Pereyra (9.5).

Goalkeeper was an easy choice, as Ederson Moares has conceded only 23 goals this season, with 20 clean sheets to his name in the Premier League.

Captain, or the player who be fetching us double the points, will be Sergio Aguero, as he is the leading goal scorer for the club not only this season but in its history as well. Vice-captain will be Raheem Sterling, as the Englishman too has been on fire. To check their stats, please refer to our Fantasy Picks sections.

Team 2:

The ante has upped here for Manchester City as the ratio here is 7:4 in their favour.

Will Hughes is replacing Roberto Pereyra, and he too has been in decent form so far, by scoring 2 goals and assisting 4 times this season.

City’s David Silva takes place of Etienne Capoue adding yet another superstar in this Dream11 team, who is known to rise as the occasion demands. The gritty Spaniard 6 goals and assisted 10 times already in this campaign.

In defence, we have replaced Laporte with captain Kompany, as he is also a goal threat in setpiece situations, or even flamboyant ones, as he displayed in the second last game of the season against Leicester City.

The captain and vice-captain remain the same as well, as we are not going to fix something that is not broken.
