Team Maharashtra enjoyed a good run this season and had lost only one encounter in group stages. In last match, They defeated Baroda by 5 wickets. Bowling first, They were given target of 206. Samad Fallah took a four wicket haul while Satyajeet Bachhav and Anupam Sanklecha took three and two wickets respectively. Chasing the total, Naushad Shaikh and Rohit Motwani played impressive knocks of 76 and 59 respectively. They will hope to continue their winning streak in knockout stages.

Jharkhand ended group stages as table toppers of Elite Group C with 7 wins and no loss. In last match, They defeated team services by 25 runs. Saurabh Tiwary and Kumar Deobrat played good cricket in middle order scoring 65 and 88 respectively. Anukul Roy played brilliant cameo down the order scoring 58 runs in 43 balls. Varun Aaron and Anukul Roy took four wicket hauls to successfully defend the total. They will hope for a similar performance from all their players in knockout matches.

Opener Jay Pande can come back in the playing XI replacing Swapnil Gugale. One among pacer Shrikant Mundhe or spinner Shamshuzama Kazi will play.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ankeet Bawne, Rohit Motwani, Rahul Tripathi and Naushad Shaikh will be the key batsmen. Prashant Kore will play the role of all rounder for team.

Anupam Sanklecha, Samad Fallah and Rahul Tripathi will lead the pace attack while Satyajeet Bachhav and Prashant Kore will be the key spinners.

Jharkhand:

MS Dhoni has opted out of knockout matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy and will not play any match. Place of Sumit Kumar is risky because of his lacklustre performance throughout the season and Utkarsh Singh can replace him.

Ishan Kishan, Anand Singh, Virat Singh, Saurabh Tiwary and Kumar Deobrat will be the key batsmen. Anukul Roy will play the role of all rounder.

Varun Aaron, Monu Kumar and Rahul Shukla will be the key pacers while Anukul Roy and Shahbaz Nadeem will lead the spin department. Virat Singh can also bowl few overs of spin.
