After a record-breaking batting performance against Worcestershire, where the Leicestershire posted their highest ever List A total, 376 for 4. It was still not enough against the Rapids as Callum Ferguson scored a mammoth 192. Worcs managed to score 377 runs quite comfortably.
Incidentally, Lancashire’s last match was also against Worcestershire. Lancs scored 254 runs in their first innings with sizeable contributions coming from Liam Livingstone (67) and Karl Brown (48). Joe Mennie (3/56) and Jennings (2/19) tried bowling at their best but it was Daryl Mitchell’s century that lost the match for Lancashire.

Lancashire has two changes. one omission will be that of Keaton Jennings who has been included in England’s Test squad for the second Test against Pakistan, he is replaced by Haseeb Hameed. Danny Lam has been replaced by Rob Jones.
