Hello and Welcome to our preview for Kings XI Punjab vs Rajasthan Royals. We are covering KXIP vs RR Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for IPL2018. The next match is to be played at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.
Kings XI Punjab sits at number four on the table, Rajasthan Royals, unfortunately are at the bottom. They need to pull off something miraculous, as they almost did in the last match, to come back and be alive in the tournament. They will be hoping a new ground will bring some new luck.
Punjab’s bowlers had an off day at the office, and the result showed that. Chris Gayle and Lokesh Rahul started of innings beautifully for them, scoring 24 and 50 runs each. At the end Stoinis’s last over proved to be the difference of 22 runs and they had a good score on the board. While bowling they lost track. Only Mujeeb ur Rahman was able to take 2 wickets, but he wasn’t economical as always. Captain Ashwin had a good effort for himself but others were just not up the mark.
A chase that looked so impossible by Duckworth Lewis method, and yet Rajasthan reached so close to home. They were just one stroke shy from a confidence boosting win, and heartbreakingly fell short. After the brilliance of D’Arcey Short and Jos Butler, nobody from Rajasthan looked like they can go on with the chase. Earlier in the bowling they did not have much to cheer about. Only Unadkat tasted some success, taking 3 wickets but he also gave away 46 runs in 4 overs. Delhi was allowed to score 196.
