Kandahar Knights have lost all the four encounters yet in the series. They lost yesterday’s encounter by nine runs. Sayed Shirzad took a four wicket haul while M Naveed and Waqar Salamkheil took two wickets to stop Panthers at 127. Chasing the total again their top order failed miserably. Karim Janat and Najibullah were the only ones who crossed 20-run hurdle leading to loss by 9 runs. They will hope to get first win of the tournament.

Nangarhar Leopards are currently fourth on points table with two wins and three losses. They won their last match by 15 runs. Anton Devcich’s 46 ball 77 and Johnson Charles knock of 43 runs helped team to give a target of 182 runs. Spinner Mujeeb and Rahmat Shah took three wickets each while M Mclenaghan took two wickets to successfully defend the total. They will hope to continue the momentum ahead in the tournament and improve their position in standings.

Lack of depth in squad is hurting them as their batsmen are out of form but they do not have adeqaute replacements.

B McCullum, Paul Stirling, Asghar Afghan, Nasir Jamal and Riki Wessels will be the key batsmen. Karim Janat and Karim Sadiq will play the role of allrounder.

Waqar Salamkheil will lead the spin department of team along with Karim Sadiq while Sayed Shirzad, M Naveed and Karim Janat will be the key pacers.

Nangarhar Leopards:

Andre Russell ruled out of the series because of a recurring hamstring injury. Australian medium pacer Nathan Rimmington replaced him in the squad, Rimmington plays for the Western Warriors in Australian domestic cricket. He has also played for Kings XI Punjab, Melbourne Renegades, Perth Scorchers and Queensland. Ben Cutting will lead the side in absence of Andre Russell.

Najeeb Tarakai can once again come for Imran Janat.

Johnson Charles, Anton Devcich, Rahmat Shah, H Shahidi and Shafiqullah Shafiq will be the key batsmen. Ben Cutting will play the role of finisher for team.

Ben Cutting will lead the pace department along with M Mcclenaghan and Naveen Ul Haq while Mujeeb and Zahir Khan will be the key spinner for the team. Rahmat Shah will also bowl few overs of spin.
