With the international break coming to an end Juventus will take on Florentina as the Serie A resumes.
Juventus had started off the season with two wins in two games and six points on board. Though they did register two vital wins, their fans were not completely convinced by their 1-0 win away at Parma, followed by a close contest with Napoli which ended by 4-3 to Juve’s favour.
The ‘Old Lady’ currently resides on the second spot, right behind Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan who has a better goal difference.
Florentina, on the other hand, didn’t start off too well. They fought till the last whistle was Napoli but lost 4-3 eventually, and their defeat to Genoa by 2-1 is the reason why they find themselves at the 16th spot in the points table.

Juventus Team News
Juventus’ seasoned centre half and captain, Giorgio Chiellini will be sidelined for most of the season as the Italian suffered a cruciate ligament rupture while training a month ago.
Mattia Perin and Marko Pjaca will also be missing out the game against Florentina due to injuries.
The Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey is yet to make his debut for Juve after his move from Arsenal and even withdrew from the game against Azerbaijan during the international break. Though Aaron Ramsey appears to be training for the Italian giants, it is still unknown if he’ll make an appearance on Saturday.
Head coach, Maurizio Sarri was unavailable for the first two games of the season due to illness, but is expected to back for managerial duties versus Florentina.
Florentina Team News:
The only injury concern for the home side will be their centre-forwad, Pedro as the 22-year-old sustains a thigh injury. However, Pedro has confessed that he will be good to go for his side soon enough.
Predicted Lineups
Florentina: Dragowski, Pezzella, Milenkovic, Dalbert, Badelj, Castrovilli, Pulgar, Chiesa, Boateng, Ribery
Juventus: Szczesny, Danilo, De Ligt, Bonucci, Alex Sandro, Pjanic, Khedira, Matuidi, Costa, Higuain, Ronaldo
Key Points:
In the last meetings it’s Juventus who have ensured supremacy by winning five to Florentina’s one win.
Florentina’s most recent win against Juve was in the year 2017.
Talking in terms of totality, the two clubs have squared off 180 times with Juve winning on 85 separate occasions to Florentina’s 39.
Prediction:
Though Florentina has done some seriously good business in the transfer window by bringing in the likes of Pedro, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Frank Ribery and the rest, the team hasn’t looked cohesive enough to look get the required results.
While Juventus might have their fair share of problems of not comprehensively winning their recent games, the defending champions still look like a complete squad integrated with the right amount of power which can brush away the best of sides.
A Juventus win seems a mere formality at this stage.
