Wasim Jaffer narrates the most fascinating story about MS Dhoni

As the deadly Corona virus has locked up every person around the world in quarantine, the sportspersons around the world are making use of this time to connect with their fans through various social media platforms. Former India opener and Ranji Trophy legend Wasim Jaffer also took his time to connect with his fans through twitter.

Dhoni’s initial wish

Wasim Jaffer gave his fans in twitter a chance to ask him some questions. One of his fans took this opportunity to ask Jaffer about his views on MS Dhoni, to which he replied that

 “In his 1st or 2nd year in Indian team, I remember he said, he wants to make 30lakhs from playing cricket so he can live peacefully rest of his life in Ranchi “

Dhoni now is one of the most paid cricketer going around in the world, but what’s fascinating is that his initial wish was just to earn 30 lakhs so that he could live happily in Ranchi for the rest of his life.

Jaffer opens up

Fans went on to ask so many questions. Few about his personal life and some others regarding his cricketing career. He went onto answer almost all of them in witty and precise manner.

The most popular question among Indian’s was also thrown at him –

“Who is the greatest? Sachin or Kohli? ”

And he answered it in the most diplomatic manner.

When asked about his favourite opening partner he named the most dashing opener India has ever seen- Virender Sehwag.

He picked 202 at Eden Garden’s against Pakistan as his best ever knock. Furthermore he predicted that either of India or Australia would win the ICC Test Championship.
