Ishan Kishan describes Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma and teammate Hardik Pandya

Indian cricket in the present scenario is blessed with way too many wicket keeper batsman’s who can make it big in future. One such talented name is Mumbai Indians wicket keeper Ishan Kishan. On his latest live interaction, he mentioned the friendship he shares with Hardik Pandya and also heaped rich praise on Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma.

Rohit is a clever captain

Since the last few seasons of the IPL, Ishan Kishan has become a house hold name for Indian cricket fans. His consistent performance for his franchise Mumbai Indians have paved way for his India A selection. In his latest live interaction on social media, he heaped much praise on his IPL captain Rohit Sharma. He said that Rohit backs youngsters like him to perform well. He further added that Rohit is a clever captain.

“Rohit Sharma as a captain on the field is very clever, he takes very smart moves and the best part about him is when the bowler is stuck in the middle, he will be always there to support them and back them. He also supports the youngesters a lot”, said Ishan Kishan while speaking on the social media page of Indian Cricket heroes.

Rohit has won 4 IPL titles for the mumbai based franchise after taking over the captaincy from Ricky Ponting.

Hardik is like an elder brother

Indian all rounder Hardik Pandya is famous for sharing great relationship with his fellow teammates. He was no different to young Ishan. He said that Hardik is very funny and is like an elder brother to him.

“Hardik Pandya is very fun loving and is a very helping nature kind of guy. He is so extraordinary on the field and off the field as a human being. I look upto him as my elder brother”, added Kishan.

He also named Hardik’s brother Krunal Pandya as the funniest member in the Mumbai Indians dressing room.

He shared that he had fond memories of last year’s IPL final and that would top his list of his favourite matches. And he further added that Wankhede is his favourite stadium around the world.

Aussie love

In the interview he answered few more questions. When asked to name one bowler from the past that he would’ve liked to face, he named the legendary Aussie pace bowler Brett Lee. He further named Sunrisers skipper David Warner as his favourite overseas batsman and Nathon Lyonn as his favourite overseas bowler.
