After all, what happened in the ODI series, a depleted Zimbabwean side will take on Ireland in a 3 match T20I series which kick-starts from July 10 at Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast where the last 2 ODIs of the series also took place.
Both these teams have previously contested against each other in the 2014 World T20 which saw Ireland emerging victorious by 3 wickets when they chased down 163. It was the Irish opener Paul Stirling’s 60 off 34 deliveries which proved valiant in the chase.
With Zimbabwe succumbing to a complete whitewash, it won’t be an easy task for them to make a strong comeback in the T20I series.
