Sunrisers Hyderabad is easily the most unfortunate team in this edition of IPL as they have lost 3rd player to injury and this time it’s the batting all-rounder from Tamil Nadu in Vijay Shankar.
Will Rohit Sharma play again for MI in IPL 2020? Here’s the update
SRH are fresh off from a victory against the one of the top sides in Delhi Capitals and are very well placed at the moment as they have their fate in their own hands. Their equation is pretty simple as they need to win just 2 of their remaining games against the mighty Mumbai Indians and the raging Royal Challengers Bangalore and they can see them in the 4th spot in the points table. Now with another injury to their camp, it is going to be tricky for them from hereon.
SRH have used Vijay Shankar as an utility cricketer and he has responded well and even played a crucial knock against RR where he played a second fiddle to Manish Pandey and won them a game. With, Vijay Shankar being ruled out, they might have to bring in either of Abhishek Sharma or Virat Singh who are talented utility cricketers themselves.

Vijay Shankar got injured in the previous match while fielding and he was seen limping off the field. The hero of their previous game in Wriddhiman Saha didn’t take part in the 2nd innings as he had a slight niggle which was confirmed by David Warner after the game against DC.
Unfortunately, he’s [Saha] got a little groin niggle but hopefully, it isn’t too bad. Vijay Shankar has a hamstring issue as well,” David Warner said.
RCB have lost their previous two games against MI and CSK and they will be raging to go against SRH where a win would guarantee them a playoff spot.
SRH, on the other hand came out with a positive intent and batted DC out of the game. DC’s bowling attack looked clueless to their onslaught. Can David Warner and co repeat the same against RCB’s relentless bowling attack?
