Rajasthan Royals took the tournament by storm as they won their first two games of the tournament in a blistering manner. The important aspect of their win was that, they took the field without their star attraction Ben Stokes but after having slumped to 3 consecutive losses thereafter, the need for Ben Stokes has resurfaced big time.

Steve Smith, after losing the match against Mumbai Indians by 57 runs said that Ben Stokes is not far off from returning to the playing XI. As a matter of fact, he has reached UAE and is in mandatory isolation period. Here’s what Steve Smith had to say about Ben Stokes.
I think losing wickets early doesn’t help, we haven’t been able to get off to a good start in the last three games. Outside of Jos and Archer at the end, we have a bit of work to do on our batting. He (Stokes) is not out till the 10th I think. He is not too far away, hopefully, we can get a few wins before he’s back and then gain momentum

Rajasthan Royals have lost all their three games outside of Sharjah and they will be returning to their favorite ground in Sharjah against Delhi Capitals on 9th of October. This is a very long tournament and it tests the character of the teams big time.
“I don’t think we need to panic too much, it is just about implementing our plans and playing some good cricket for longer. We haven’t been able to do that in the last three games and we have to turn it around quickly. Hopefully, get a bit of momentum,” Steve Smith concluded
Rajasthan Royals are in the 7th position in points table with 3 losses and 2 wins in their 5 games. They need to pull up their socks and get back to winning ways before everything goes out of their hand. RR management will be hoping for some good fortunes with the arrival of Ben Stokes.
