The Catalans have already advanced into the next round by beating Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at home with Suarez, Griezmann and Messi all getting their names on the scoresheet.

However, the game far more important for Antonio Conte and his men. Inter Milan with seven points is on level terms with Dortmund. Therefore, the Italian club will want nothing less but a win against Barcelona as Dortmund face bottom Slavia Praha who reside at the bottom of Group F.

Inter Milan

Manchester United loanee, Alexis Sanchez is still out of contention due to an ankle injury. Kwadwo Asamoah recovered from a knee injury and came off the bench against AS Roma. Antonio Candreva is also likely to play a part against Barcelona after overcoming a back injury. Ousmane Dembele, Jordi Alba and Nelson Semedo are all ruled out due to injuries, while Arthur and Ansu Fati are doubtful to start against Mallorca. Ernesto Valverde could shuffle a few players now that Barcelona has qualified to the next round. Arturo Vidal, Carles Perez and Samuel Umtiti might be in line of getting starts. The two frontline attackers, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are sidelined for the upcoming fixture.

Frankie de Jong will have to play the anchor role in FC Barcelona’s midfield. The former Ajax man has a pass accuracy of 90% in La Liga as well as the Champions League
