The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 has reached its business end. It is time for the semi-finals to unfold. The four teams who have deservingly made it here after some sheer competition are India, Australia, England and New Zealand.
The first semi-final will be played between India and New Zealand as India finished at the top of the pile in the league stage, whereas, New Zealand finished fourth. This match will be played at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.
The second semi-final will see the reigning and five-time champions Australia who finished second in the points table going up against the hosts England who remained on the third position after the completion of league matches.
Both India and New Zealand were supposed to see-off each other in match no 18 of this World Cup at Nottingham, but due to persistent rains, even the toss didn’t take place.
