Hello and Welcome to our preview for India vs New Zealand ODI match. We are covering IND vs NZ Dream11 team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the second ODI match. The match is to be played at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.

India and New Zealand, the battle between two high-ranked ODI sides was expected to be a thriller. But in the first ODI at Napier, India proved the power of their team. The home side was shot out for only 157 runs and the visitors had no issues in chasing down the smallish total.

Batting first, New Zealand had a terrible start. Both the openers, Guptill and Munro, were sent back by Mohammad Shami. Captain Kane Williamson waged a lone battle as the middle order collapsed in front of him. His knock of 64 helped NZ get to 157. The bowling unit did not have much to bowl at.

After Mohammad Shami picked up two early wickets, the wrist spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal got into action. The duo sent back six New Zealand batsmen. Kedar Jadhav was effective as well. Shikhar Dhawan brought himself back in the form with a calm 75. Kohli reached 45 before he was dismissed.

New Zealand will expect better from its batsmen this time around while India will hope to take the 2-0 lead and boss the home team.

Virat Kohli will be rested after the third ODI.

Indian team is expected to remain unchanged after the stunning victory. The batting begins with the trio of Rohit-Dhawan-Virat. Rayudu, Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav complete the middle order.

Vijay Shankar remains the all-rounder. He will support the pace bowlers Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

The lethal duo of Kuldeep and Chahal will continue their domination.

New Zealand:

It was surprising to see New Zealand opt for Doug Bracewell ahead of Colin de Grandhomme. CDG is expected to return for this match.

Remaining players are expected to stay put. Munro and Guptill will open the innings backed by Kane Williamson at three.

Ross Taylor, Tom Latham (wk), Henry Nicholls form the middle order.

Boult, Southee and Ferguson were the pace attack in the last match with Matt Henry on the bench. New Zealand can go with two Spinners after success of Indian spin bowlers.
