Strengths :
In home conditions India’s strength is their batting as well as bowling especially spin. England’s strength is their batting as they have depth in it and their bowlers are also handy batsman. In batting they have Rory Burns, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Daniel Lawrence and talented Ollie Pope is also back so they have a fine batting unit with some young talents and then in bowling the pace trio of Stuart Broad, James Anderson and Jofra Archer is good. In spin they have Mooen Ali, Jack Leach and Dominic Bess and the later duo took 5-fers in Sri Lanka and showed their skills.
Weaknesses :
India don’t have much weakness if we talk about home conditions but the absence of injured Ravindra Jadeja will put a lot of load on R Ashwin and it has also weakened their spin attack as Sundar and Patel don’t have much experience.
On the other side, England’s top order has struggled in Asia and the likes of Rory Burns and Dominic Sibley may struggled against R Ashwin and then their spinners too aren’t enough experienced.
