England edge closer to take a 1-0 lead

Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubhman Gill resumed the chase on Day 5 for team India but it was England’s veteran James Anderson who used all his experience and the reverse swingers to great effect and rattled the hosts in the opening session on the final day in Chennai Test. Anderson’s double-strike in the 27th over broke India’s spine as the pacer clean bowled the well set Shubhman Gill (50) and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane (0). This brought England within touching distance of a massive win.
