IND vs ENG 5th Test Dream11 Team Prediction and Probable XI: Preview | RETIREMENT MATCH OF ALASTAIR COOK

Hello and Welcome to our preview for India vs England 5th Test match. We are covering IND vs ENG 5th Test Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Test match. The match is to be played at Kennington Oval, London.

England won the last test by 60 runs and have won the five-match series. Moeen Ali was the star player of the match taking nine wickets. Stuart Broad, James Anderson and Ben Stokes also supported him well in the bowling department. Sam Curran was the team’s pick with bat scoring near about 150 runs down the order in two innings. J Buttler, J Root, M Ali also played well with bat. England will hope to end the series 4-1 and make the farewell match for Alastair Cook memorable.

India lost the series but impressed everyone with their performance throughout the series. In last test, they had quite a few positives as well as negatives. C Pujara played a classic test knock of 132 runs. Virat Kohli as always was impressive scoring 46 and 58 in two innings . A Rahane was also good with bat. No other batsmen could support them. Pace trio of M Shami, I Sharma and J Bumrah once again were impressive and were able to take regular wickets of England’s batting order. India will hope to end the long series with a good note winning the last test.

Team News:

INDIA:

Prithvi Shaw and Hanuma Vihari are the new entrants in squad replacing Murali Vijay and Kuldeep Yadav. Prithvi Shaw can come in for KL Rahul. Dinesh Karthik can replace Rishabh Pant.

Hanuma Vihari can also get a nod over Hardik Pandya. R Ashwin performed poorly in 4th test and can most probably be replaced by R Jadeja. V Kohli, C Pujara, A Rahane will be the key batsmen. All three of them are in brilliant form.

R Ashwin or R Jadeja will be the lone spinner for India. J Bumrah, I Sharma, M Shami will lead the pace attack. All the three pacers are performing good for the team.

ENGLAND:

Captain J Root has declared the playing XI for fifth test. No changes will be there in the playing XI. A Cook will retire from international cricket after this test match.

Moeen Ali will bat one down as in the second innings of fourth test. J Bairstow is fit from his injury and will take wicket-keeping duties from J Buttler.

J Root, J Bairstow, J Buttler and B Stokes will be the key batsmen. Their Openers K Jennings and A Cook are not in good touch and will hope to score big as they have lost their wicket cheaply in all the four tests. S Curran, M Ali and A Rashid will also give able support to them in batting department.

J Anderson will lead the pace attack and is in good form as always. S Broad, B Stokes and S Curran will support him. A Rashid and M Ali will be the key spinners for England. M Ali is in brilliant form.
