IND vs AUS Dream11 Team Prediction: After some lengthy discussions on the concussion substitute we are back to action inside the ground and are also back to Sydney a change the hosts Australia will be happy about as they won the first 2 ODIs against that were played here. The visitors India though are in a better frame of mind as they come in this match after winning the 1st T20I with a set of players that most thought won’t feature in India’s first playing XI. Interestingly India will also play a practice game in the red-ball format so that will affect the team combination. Let’s look at the AUS vs IND Prediction.

AUS vs IND Playing 11

AUS Team News: A Agar is ruled out due to injury while C Green is released from the squad. Nathan Lyon is added to the squad as another spin option. There is still uncertainty about A Finch’s injury. M Stoinis is dealing with a side injury.
Playing combination:
There are questions over A Finch’s fitness. If he plays he opens if he doesn’t play Australia will go with M Wade as D Short’s opening partner or even S Smith can open. M Henriques and G Maxwell will bat in the middle order. Australia might again prefer a five-bowler strategy with two spinners which means A Zampa and N Lyon feature in the playing XI with J Hazlewood and M Starc handling the pace department. S Abbott may be dropped due to his form and A Tye could play this game.

AUS Playing 11:
Aaron Finch, D’Arcy Short, Matthew Wade, Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Moises Henriques, N Lyon, A Tye,  Mitchell Starc,  Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood

IND Team News:
Injuries, unavailability:
R Jadeja is ruled out due to injury and S Thakur replaces him in the squad. J Bumrah or M Shami could be released to play for India A.
Playing combination:  KL Rahul and S Dhawan will open the innings with V Kohli at number 3. One among S Samson and M Pandey could make way for S Iyer while Y Chahal will replace R Jadeja’s W Sundar’s spin partner. India could go ahead with SThakur in this game to bolster the lower order as Jadeja’s absence will leave India with a long tail. T Natarajan and D Chahar should complete the pace attack.

IND Playing 11:
1 Shikhar Dhawan, 2 KL Rahul, 3 Virat Kohli (capt), 4 Shreyas Iyer, 5 S Samson 6 Hardik Pandya, 7 S Thakur, 8. D Chahar 9, W Sundar, 10. Y Chahal 11 T Natarajan

In bowling Y Chahal is the strike weapon with D Chahar a key asset with the new ball and T Natrajan’s emergence makes him the X-Factor. Australia on the other hand will expect S Smith and G Maxwell to do the bulk of the run-scoring with  A Zampa and J Hazlewood as the key wicket-takers.
