A 14-man Sri Lanka A squad, led by Ashan Priyanjan, is in India to play 2 four-day games and 5 one-dayers. The two unofficial test matches will be played in Belagavi and Hubli from May 25, Sat – May 28, Tue and May 31, Fri – Jun 03, Mon respectively. Following the test series, the two sides will lock horns in 5 ODIs which are slated to begin from Jun 06, Thursday. The first three ODI will be played in Belagavi while the last two will take place in Hubli.
The visitors will play under the leadership of Ashan Priyanjan and boast a few experienced players in the likes of Vishwa Fernando, Lahiru Kumara, Lakshan Sandakan, Niroshan Dickwella, Akila Dananjaya, & Sadeera Samarawickrema. The host, on the opposite, will be led by PK Panchal have a couple of emerging talents in the likes of Rahul Chahar, Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube, Sandeep Warrier and Ankit Rajpoot.
